Eastern New Mexico

Eastern New Mexico is more like the states in the great plains. It begins on the eastern side of the Sangre de Cristo Mounains. The Spanish called it theĀ Llano Estacado. It is translated into English as the "Staked Plains." The The major sights of interest from north to south are:
